Our expectations

Reporting to the Sr Director of Merchandise Planning, the Analyst Inventory lifecycle planner – will be responsible of reporting and analysing on inventory that requires markdowns.  They will also have the role of deputy on supporting the team and their internal clients to achieve the financial objectives by following the monthly results, forecast, budget and strategic planning.

 

Your role

  • Act as a financial business partner to Merchandising and Planning teams  
  • Analyze figures related to inventory and sales, and margins
  • Analyze and participate with the merchandising teams in order to sell end-of-life inventory
  • Produce inventory turns and obsolescence analysis      
  • Collaborate in the evaluation of key performance indicators     
  • Put in place financial planning models for forecast, and budget

 

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Undergraduate university education in finance, accounting or economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience pertinent experience
  • Experience with Retail, Margin, and Inventory
  • Self-motivated and result oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis and presentation skills to leadership team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly growing and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent knowledge of IT tools including Excel, Power BI, Dashboard developments
